Criteria and Requirements

Criteria and requirements for CoolMode

  • The fabric used for producing the CoolMode clothing must be breathable in order to decrease the energy used for air conditioning and easy to clean as to reduce water consumption, or
  • The fabric may be made of natural or manufactured fibers, or synthetic materials, to allow sweat to evaporate quickly so that the wearer of CoolMode clothing feel more comfortable in hot weather, or
  • The fabric may use an innovative fiber technology, or biotech finishing technology to decrease the skin’s temperature.

The fabric shall be durable and safe for consumers in order to be certified the CoolMode standard.

Required properties of CoolMode clothing are indicated below
